Mohammad Sheikh CPA, ACCA, and US Tax Court Practitioner
Mohammad is the CEO and Founder of MMS CPA & Advisors. Mohammad has over 7 years of accounting, tax, and auditing experience. In 2013, he received a BSC. Honors in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, United Kingdom. Mohammad is a Texas and California CPA and one of only 122 people who have earned the US Tax Court Practitioner designation. He is also an ACCA affiliate, so he is well-versed in IFRS and international tax principles. Mohammad has a thorough understanding of the tax code and the IRS’s operations as a result of his education and work experience.
Mohammad began as a small business owner in 2010, but he has always had a strong interest in accounting. Along with running his business, he gained valuable experience in various areas of accounting such as tax, assurance, and advisory services. He previously worked at two of the top ten accounting firms in the United States, BKD, LLP and Clifton, Larson and Allen, LLP, where he was in charge of financial statement audits for healthcare, non-profit organizations, and government entities. He is well-versed in single audits and compliance audits and is regarded as a single audit expert by his peers.
Mohammad has extensive experience in healthcare, non-profit, and government accounting. During his career, he has performed audit, tax, single-audit and advisory services for hundreds of clients in these industries.
